    Re: MCAD Advice

I think you selected the right cert.

I would also take 70-306 instead.

It is usually recommended that you have ~2 years hands on experience in order to be ready for a test.

    Here are the MCAD requirements:

    1 from:
    70-305
    70-306
    70-315
    70-316

    1 from:
    70-310
    70-320

    1 elective:
    70-229 (may be retired soon)
    70-230
    70-234
70-305, 70-306, 70-315, or 70-316 (if you use one of these as an elective then you cant use it as a core requirement).

Isn't the MCP structure changing completely with the Onset of VS 2005?

    Question Re: MCAD Advice

    Hi dudes...

Thanks a lot for your tips. I also discussed about choice between two popular modules with my father.

Exam 70–305*: Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET

    OR

Exam 70–306*: Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET

Though i was more keen in Exam 70-306 but my father adviced that i do the former one (Exam 70-305) because knowledge of web is essential and now in demand. Moreover since i have a sound knowledge of VB 6 i would learn less in exam 70-306 than what i would learn in exam 70-305.

So i guess i will do Exam 70-305 now.

What do you think ? Have i made right decision.

    Thanks,
    Saurabh
