[RESOLVED] Old Acct Name
I have the username of ErocM that has had issues on this forum for quite some time. It will not let me post or do anything on this forum except log in. The issue I have is it is taking up my regularly used email address. Can "ErocM" be deleted so I can change the email address on the account to the correct email?
Thanks!
Eroc

Re: Old Acct Name
If you can log in as ErocM, why can't you go to your User CP and change the email?

He has clearly stated he can only log in. Nothing else.

It obviously wasn't clear to me and still isn't.

Re: Old Acct Name
This happens when a validation email is sent and never confirmed. The user cannot do anything until they click the link in the validation email.
Have a look for the validation email in your archives or maybe Brad or Joe can have it resent to you.

Re: Old Acct Name
I agree this might be the problem in most cases, but I had that account for quite some time and posted on it. The forums changed, at least the look did, and then I couldn't access it anymore. I finally got fed up and created a new account.

Can you post a screen shot of the message you get?

I searched for "ErocM" in the members list and couldn't find it. Was your account deleted? If so, is there a problem with the one you're using now?

Re: Old Acct Name
Actually this isn't that big of a deal so I'll just deal with it. This account works so I'll move on.
Thanks for the help,
Eroc
