    Hmmph. Well it's talk for now. Until I start seeing policy changes, it is nothing but talk. But I still see it as a positive step that it is at least being addressed. If it gets people talking it can only help.

    Bush has now stood up and said (paraphrased) "I'm on oilaholic"

    It is, as you say Cander, the first and smallest of steps, but I see it as significant; Bush is now rapidly coming the end of his term; I can see him focusing on philanthropy rather than war to mitigate decisions which at best have been dodgy.
