    animated gif for MSN messenger!!!!

    Hi,
    I tried but it seems not working?...
    Is there a way to use an "animated gif" in MSN or other messenger to display one's picture ...?

    I believe they call it Dynamic Display pictures, and are flash files. They are only available from a handful of providers, and you mostly have to pay for them. I don't know how you could place your own in MSN Messenger, nor do I think they allow it. Something like winks... they only come in packs.

    Check with Meegos.com. They give one animation free, after that you have to pay for it.

    The MSN protocol doesn't allow for animated GIF's, nor does it allow flash files that havn't been digitally signed by the Messenger service itself.
    The only way to do it is like with the "weemee's" do, go to a valid seller, and buy from there.
