    Wanted to Buy: Sudoku Generator

    Hi,

This is an ideal job for someone who has already created a sudoku generator, and would like to make some money off it.

    The specs are:
The generator must contstruct puzzles that are solvable using logic.
It must have at least 4 levels of difficulty.
It must be coded in vb.net (preferred) or vb6.

I do not want the resale rights, so I do not mind if part of the code is in dll form to preserve you ip. I just need to be able to call the generator to create puzzles, and get the output.

    Cheers

Re: Wanted to Buy: Sudoku Generator

    $200 - $300 for the right program. I would prefer vb.net

I have posted the job at rentacoder, hoping to find someone. Here are the specs I posted there.

    Sudoku Puzzle Generator

I would like a sudoku generator constructed in vb.net Information on how sudoku is played can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudoku

    The generator must:

    * Generate puzzles (with solutions) at 4 levels of difficulty (Easy, medium, hard, evil etc).
    * Difficulty must be determined using number of moves required, combined with difficulty of techniques that needed to be used. Do not just use number of initially shown squares.
    * The generator must be able to employ the solving methods: Naked Single, Hidden Single, Block and Column / Row Interactions, Block / Block Interactions, Naked Subset, Hidden Subset, X-Wing, Swordfish, XY-Wing, XYZ-Wing, Colouring, Remote Pairs, XY Chains. As these methods are also known by other terms, you can study the definitions here : http://www.simes.clara.co.uk/program...techniques.htm
    * All generated puzzles must be unique (one solution).
    * Puzzles generated must be solvable by logic only - no guessing (or variations on this - Nishio, Forcing Chains) is allowed. You can check your puzzles on http://www.sudokusolver.co.uk
    * Generator must actually create the puzzle - it cannot just choose from a library of pre-generated puzzles.
    * Generator must be able to accept a puzzle as a input, and solve the puzzle. It should output the steps taken to reach the solution.
    * When outputing the generated puzzle and solution, it should also be able to be specified to include the steps needed to solve the puzzle.

The generator will write the puzzles/solutions to the standard output. The generator will also be called as a dll.

Re: Wanted to Buy: Sudoku Generator

    Hi again

What I need is a program or just a dll, there can "spit" out a 81 long string as I can use for a soduko program and export to a database, for using on the internet.

    Is it possible??

And hov many difficulties are there in the dll's?

Are the dll made, so there is only one solution?
Is it using the solving methods written above?

And at last, is there a place where I can se it working??

    Hai
Sending the zip file it conatins only the exe which will work for 50 times. It should have MSVBVM60.DLL to run "which will be there default in windows systems"
