    error with ********** and ISTool

    Hi All,

I use Vb enterprise sp6, i tried to make the installer kit with **********(4.0.6) and ISTool(5.1.5) but i received the errors:
"Attempt to deploy DLL from own Windows System Directory".

How I should solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance

See this thread. You can copy some unsafe files to another folder. If you use Inno Script, it will write the scripts for you. You still need to create another folder for unsafe files, or remove them from the unsafe file list. They are unsafe, because other OS's may not be able to use them. It's up to you to find out which ones are OK to distribute. (You can get Inno Script from www.***********)

Inno Setup is from this site and not randoms site, although he may have a link to it but its not his product.

Oops. I meant Inno Script, which is his. Sorry about the confusion. I'll edit the post.

The link was correct. I guess I was trying to be detailed.

Yes that threw me off as I thought he was already using **********(4.0.6).

Re: error with ********** and ISTool

    Thanks for answers.

I used more time without problems ********** 4.0.6 and ISTool 5.1.4 (Visual Basic 6.0 with sp6) but I reinstaled my OS (Xp pro) and I have problems with deployment package; I don't understand why??

    I don't know what I must do.

    Thanks in advance
