Re: Bandwith in England and USA
In scandinavia most students have 100Mbit to their university. If you are not a student. Then 2Mbit or 4Mbit is the normal.
Here in geneva 764kb is the normal, because it is dead expensive. Unless you are at CERN though... *We made the web"..

Is there more to Britain then England? I thought there was only farms and hills north of the stone fence, and "south"-west of the cute Mancunians....

Besides it is that very attitude why everyone hates the English, not just the other home nations. Such a superior attitude for no apparent reason
I'm glad I'm not english, just a cynical *******.

Granted Englan makes up most of the UK in population but there is also Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland that make up Britain. So as you can imagine it is very insulting when people refer to Britain as England.
It is kind of like calling you Spanish because you just happen to live on the same continent as them

Americans do that all the time inderectly...and last time I was in Greece, they didn't think Norway was in Europe because we are not in the EU..so I get that all the time....
But then again...why do you want to be British, all British girls are Big, Fat, and Pink, except one, but she is old..

Irritating isn't it?
I don't mind being British, I just get annoyed by being referred to as English when that is not the place of my birth

Re: Bandwith in England and USA
I suspect that Juan Carlos Rey specifically asked for England on purpose - knowing that the landscape of Scotland and Wales isn't condusive to upgrading a wired architecture (which is why they are used for testing developmental wire-free/power-line methods by several companies), and that in Northern Ireland... ...ah, I've had enough of writing this twaddle!!

I'm very sorry for the controversial that started up.
I didn't meant to be offesive to Britishmen. I said "England" thinking of mayor sities, such as London.
I live in a very small town (Godoy Cruz, 200,000), at near 1000 Km from the capital, Buenos Aires, and know very well what is being discriminated.
Sorry again.
