Report Engine Tool Evaluations, looking for
Hey, all. I need y'alls help.
I'm in the middle of developing an app that (as all apps do) needs to run some reports. What I'm looking for is opinions and experiences on some of the reporting tools out there for .NET.
I know all about Crystal, so I don't need any opins on that one.
Here's a list of some of the ones I have found and either know very little or nothing about. If anyone has anything (productively) to add to the list, by all means please do so.
XtraReports from DevExpress
StimulReport from StimulSoft
ActiveReports from DataDynamics
Siberix Report Writer
Swift Reports from UniSwift
Winward Reports
I'm sure there's more, but that's what I've come up with so far.
Since this is a desktop app, I've eliminated the ASP.NET based tools.
Any others worth looking at? Opinions? Comments? Suggestions?

Here I am
I looked some of these time ago and some now, this is my really-short opinion (I hadn't spent so much time on them)
XtraReports from DevExpress: seems good, but there's something that does not convince me.
StimulReport from StimulSoft: A good designer and it seems powerfull. Not so intuitive (I wasn't able to link to a datasource and to do a preview).
ActiveReports from DataDynamics: seems good and complete. Don't know about it's "usability".
Siberix Report Writer: No designer and too complex to me.
Swift Reports from UniSwift: Simple to use, integrated with VS, it seems quite complete (You need VS to create reports).
Winward Reports: It seems to need Word installed and use Word as IDE.
All these have a lack: they are not free and in some cases the price is prohibitive.

I'm writing a my FREE reporting tool, focusing on semplicity in designing and coding.
You can take a look at www.neodatatype.net (in these days I'm adding scripting support and some other).
To be honest you missed another good (such as expensive) tool:
Report Sharp-Shooter from 9Rays (http://www.9rays.net/cgi-bin/compone...i?act=1&cid=93)
Good choise
