Due to a number of post I have read in the last few months I have decided to post a link to an excellent remote control software that is completely free and best of all... web based, so your pc is easily accessible anywhere in the world without having to install client software..

It seems that its only a trial...

A free alternative is: Ultravnc, it is open source and you can remote it from a web browser via java.

This isnt a trial, they have a payed ver. but it only comes with a few extras. Nothing too special. But they have an excellent free trial.

Really the only bad thing about ultravnc is that you have to install a client and server, where as with logmein, it is all done automatically via your account. Just click add this computer and all the information is handled their and a small applet runs on your machine.

Same thing as ultravnc really, but this one is just easier to configure.
