    Ebay-like saved searches?

I may have asked for this in the past...

I would like to be able to create some saved searches or at least 1, the way you can do at ebay. That way, I can get notified of new posts that I am interested in.

Any chance of this ever happening?

Nobody knows what software they want until after you've delivered what they originally asked for.

That would be a feature that vBulletin would have to add (the makers of the forum software we use).

Until then, a poor substitute but what you can do is append the search field values onto the end of the search URL and it will load the form with those values filled in.

    E.g.

Thx, but I want the site to do all the work. I saw mention to web services and this site. That may be an alternative, but dunno if any plans are in the works for offering web services to vbulletin.

What if you saved the search querystring like suggewsted in your favorites or save the link to your private calendar? Then all you have to do is click on the link.
