[RESOLVED] how does SFC work?
hi all ,
i've seen many topics where (most notibaly dglienna) has mentioned using sfc (system file checker i belive) in command prompt, now does this repalce the altered files? or does it repalce those that are not reconized by windows? if so wouldnt that effect the use of other programs ?

Re: how does SFC work?
It compares/restores them to copies in the windows Dll cache, if that fails it asks for the windows CD.
