is this one better or worse then my older one (attached below)
the one on the left was good quilty, but i had to cut down on the quilty to get it under 20k
so which one should I keep?

what program were you using? I remade yours in flash, and it came out to be 1.07 k, here it is:

i did it is flash, and it was like 41kb! so the i saved it as an animated gif, and used animation shop to cut out like every other frame.

you could cut out everyother frame in flash too. if you brake apart all of the objects (Ctrl + b) then it will shrink the size of the file. By the way, if you brake an object, the only way you can unbrake it is to click UNDO. So if you exit flash, then your stuck. So make a back-up copy first.
I'm also not sure if you completey drew everything in flash, or imported an image. if you imported an image, the whole file will be bigger.
