Celron-M v/s Centrino Pentium for VB.NET
Hi all,
Is there is any performance issue if I am using same configuration of latptop but Celron-M (instead of Centrino Pantium) in folloing two ways for VB.Net application:
a) Re-Compiling code and trouble shooting at client's site
b) Presenting software demo to clients
Thanks

Honestly, demoing code it probably won't make much of a difference. Compiling, depending on how large the application is, you may notice slowdown on the celeron.
A pentium-m would out perform a celeron, even if the GHz is about the same, in almost every category possible.
To ensure it's quick and your demo never lags (again, depends on app complexity), your best bet would be a pentium-m with a good amount of ram (I'd recommend 1GB if possible).
Also, this should go in the General PC forum.
Hope that helps.
