    I'm just curious 'bout it.
    I'm from Israel with 56K modem.
    Getting approximately 3KB/s

    I think things like this are very country-dependent, like for example the USA has lots of DSL/cable, whilst most of Britain uses modems.

    Hm, that doesn't really inform about the speed I think...

    Cable goes from 64kb/s to 2048kb/s so ...

    well mine is 2048 *hehe*
