[RESOLVED] Problem with InstallShield Setup
I've previously installed a program that was meant to be installed under a Japanese compatible Microsoft OS. The important contents of all the program was successfully installed however at the end of the install when it tried to create a japanese shortcut to the program. I am running an english Windows 98SE so I cannot convert my system to Japanese or use AppLocale. This isn't the problem though. A patch was made to fix a major problem in the program but that program runs under InstallShield and it requires the registry of the original program to be present before it starts patching.
I've been trying to extract the data1.cab but to no avail. Is there any way to go around the registry key check or to just get the files the patch is supposed to deliver?
Thanks
EDIT: Used InstallShield Cabinet Viewer 10.5 and it let me extract the files.
