    Post Desktop Shortcut

    is there any way of placeing a shortcut to your .exe on the users desktop when your software installs via the package and deployment wizzard

    No, there isn't if you're using P&DW. You may however modify original project.
    Here is default project location:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\Wizards\PDWizard\Setup1\Setup1.vbp

    We have plenty of samples here so all you have to do is "plug and play"...
