chat programs help

Does any one know how to make a network chat program like (ICQ) or do you
know of any good tutorials on this subject.
Any advise or help would be appreciated

Try searching Winsock in Help.
Dreamcast is good the games not yet.

hey. i have made a slightly pants chat program, that uses tcp winsock, but it doesnt detect when users r online. if u wanna copy of it, email me @ [email protected] I know sum1 who has just made a prog that detects when ppl come on2 a network. i could probably nick a copy of that, 2 if u wannit.
