need help with antialiased lines!!!!

hello !

i have a lot of troubles in getting nice antialiased smoothed lines out of VB.

i have looked at a lot of VB-sources. but everything i found (even with openGL) draws lines like stair-steps.

guys, i need your help!!!!

does anyone have a simple sourcecode which teaches me 'how to draw antialiased and smooth 2D lines (and circles)"?

i cannot belive, that there is no sample program who shows how to draw a nice line.

i do not need any rotation, or shading or 3D. only simple nice smooth 2d lines in different colors and thickness are needed.
