question for any optonline users
I have optonline (cablevision) for my ISP, and recently I stopped getting emails from VBFORUMS for notifications of replies and such. I found they use a spam blocker, which I disabled a little while ago but still am not getting notifications.
I changed my email on here to my gmail acct, and started getting notifications, so I know the issue is with optonline. Has anyone else who has this ISP (and uses an @optonline.net email) had the same issue?
I am thinking maybe the spam blocker may take a little while to "turn off" so I plan on trying it again tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone else maybe was going through the same thing.

Re: question for any optonline users
contact them. they should be able to let you know
I would never use a company that has there own spam blocker to block email before it gets to me. how do they know whats spam and what isnt!!
TimeWarner (Roadrunner) gives away free software to thier customers that controls the spam in the users email..(CA EZ Armor package) not on the server. Much better and u can sift through the spam filter... click allow to anything that isnt spam. very nice
JPnyc rocks!! (Just ask him!)

We said the same thing about our cleaners, eventually they got evil
Anyways, i would give them a call, stating that its not a problem with the website your getting emails from, and their servers are stopping oyu getting certain emails.
