Well, the purpose was to show the kids earlier. I came to the site for 30 seconds and found the link. I gave it to the girls, and they played it 4 times in a row, and minimized it to show their brothers. Mission accomplished!

Sounds like if you got you turkeys 2 months ago they are probably rotten. Did you get sick eating your turkeys tonight?

Have you ever had turkey at KFC? I don't think they were even open today around here. I've never seen turkey on the menu though. I doubt they'd sell any the rest of the year.

95% of all the KFC's are open every day of the year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day

    Re: Happy Turkey Day!

Boxing Day? That isn't a holiday here. It just doesn't seem like many places were open today, although i didn't check out the local KFC. We did pick up pies from Baker's Square.

Would you believe that they messed up orders of people that pre-ordered? The line was long, and they kept telling people that the kitchen had messed up, and they only had 6 kinds of pies available. Everyone left with a few pies, though.

I figured that it was a marketing ploy Nobody said, "If you don't have what I ordered, I don't want ANY pies." I wonder how many will come back next year?

Thats cos you don't have anything worth celebrating! The more civilised countries in the world have something called the Boxing Day Test, greatest day ever.

Sounds like more of a chore. Boxing up all the crappy gifts that you get. Plus, it's a holiday! We get Xmas and New Years day's off. Why would you need another holiday to return gifts? I guess you don't get Thanksgiving day off?

The day after Christmas sales are the number #1 shopping day of the year. This is despite the fact that they don't make it a national holiday. I guess we play hookey?

Usually the day after x-mas is the best day to work. As there is no traffic and you can get to work stress free. Take days off when its raining or traffic looks bad.

The original name was "Korean 'Fried Chicken'", but they changed it to "Kentucky" and dropped the quotes for Americans. The Colonel's Famous Woofburger was not thought likely to be a marketing success in the US.
