I went to the one in Detroit.

They game out VS 2005 Standard (pretty much useless until you get to the Professional/Enterprise versions), and I didn't see any copies of BizTalk or SQL Server 2005.

Some people has gotten the pro version of VS.NET. I dont really care if its the standard or the pro version. Its free and the type of code I'll be writing does not require the pro version. Hell the express versions are enough for me

    Then you will be happy.

The launch in Detroit was on the 8th. So, two weeks later, it is in your fair city.

I'm wondering what the difference, if any, in the freebies are. Tomorrow evening or Wednesday, post back and let us know what you got.

The standard versions a bag of sh*t to anyboy other than the home developer, and no "Developer" versions of BizTalk or SQL server is abismal. The seminars were good and the quality of the dayis good, but for those ***** a going for the software (which is most of them) beware for a big dissapointment!!!!!!

But if its home develoer studio you want. Then youll be really happy...
