Installing App for several users
I need to know how to install a vb app so that it will be present regardless of the login name.
For example:
when you install Microsoft Word, no matter who you login as the program is available.
However with my app. If i install it, it will only install under that user's name and not where every person who logins into the c computer can see it.
If you can't tell me how to do it, maybe you can tell me what it is called to i can look into it.
Thanks!

Re: Installing App for several users
What OS are you installing this to? Usually when you install a program it wil prompt you with a choice to install for just yourself or all users. This is for XP and I am not 100% sure but not for 2000.
What is your packing program?

Re: Installing App for several users
It is Windows XP.
I've never seen or noticed the prompt though.

Re: Installing App for several users
If you install the program via the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs applette it should do the prompt.
