    Question license OEM

    hi!

i see many shops that they sell Windows license OEM; they sell this product without hardware. Is this legal?

other question, license OEM is only valid for one machine? if this machine spoils, can the user install windows oem on other machine?

    regards,

    Re: license OEM

OEM = doesn't come in a box, shrink wrapped or with a manual, you get the CDs (or DVDs) and the authen cert. Nothing more

Retail - the boxed set that you buy off the shelf at the store. May or may not come with extras.

Unless specified, liceneses are only for one machine. OEM or retail, doesn't matter. One license, one machine.
