word and 'range'
I want to write to different lines in a word document, but am not sure how the .range or .selection.Text works.
Below is some code I have that is currently working.
VB Code:
Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click
Dim wdApp As New Word.Application
Dim wdDoc As Word.Document = New Word.Document
wdDoc.Select()
If wdApp Is Nothing Then
wdApp = New Word.Application
End If
wdApp.Selection.Font.Bold = True
wdApp.Selection.Font.Color = Word.WdColor.wdColorRed
wdApp.Selection.Font.Name = "AvantGarde Bk BT"
wdApp.Selection.Font.Size = 10
wdApp.Selection.Text = "Testtext"
wdApp.Selection.Text = "Text1" & ControlChars.CrLf & "Text2" & ControlChars.CrLf & "Text3" & ControlChars.CrLf & "Text4"
wdDoc.SaveAs(Application.StartupPath & "\yadda.doc")
wdDoc.Saved = True
wdApp.Quit()
End Sub
But I'm not sure how?
How do you (can you) write to a specfic line in a word document?

Re: word and 'range'
You could use the .Find method to locate the range and then replace the text with what you want. Also, if its an entire paragraph then you can use the paragraphs collection.
