Please excuse my ignorance but what is a 'snap' game?

correct me if I'm wrong, but do you mean the effect when a card seems to snap into position?

Coming from England he might mean the type of game. Snap is where you shuffle the cards and share them between the players. Then holding your cards face down, each player takes it in turn to place their top card face up on the deck. When a card is put down on top of the same sort, ie a 2 and 2, or jack and jack, then the first player to place their hand on the deck and shout 'snap' gets the cards. The idea being to get them all. Or maybe im just nuts and he wants what Megatron mentioned.

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
