File System object, ASP,and Firefox
Hello all, got a weird one here that I'm wondering if anybody else has encountered. I have a piece of asp code that uses the file system object to create a new folder on the web server. If I run the Code in IE, all works fine, but when I test it in Firefox, I get a permission denied from ASP. I've set full control to everone in the folder where the new folder is to be created, but still to no avail.
anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

Check the event logs in Control Panel to see what the exact error message is. I'm guessing that it's not the folder but the COM object itself which needs permissions set on it. You'd use regedt32 to set permissons on the File System Object.
