Create Report In Crystal Reports

Hi friends

i am working on a project where i want to call crystal report .
am using vb 6.0 and crystal report 7.
the coding i have done is as follows

formdtl.crystalreport1.connect="dsn,uid,pwd"
formdtl.crystalreport1.reportfilename="report name"

am not getting any output.

formdtl.crystalreport1.action = 1
gives error like - " invalid file name " the property is write only"

so please help me to solve this problem, also i want to know is how formula property can be used in this.
