Re: INNO Script help
kamran,
You didn't happen to look at the instruction did you? The red lines are files that are not found. Read about SAFE MODE It is important.

Re: INNO Script help
those files are in my windows system directory and it would not let me specify the path..of system 32 folder...so one ay is i copy it and place in some other directory...if they are marked as red then does that mean that if i try to copy some where else on other machine these files might not cause a problem

Re: INNO Script help
kamran,
No, it does not mean that. It means that care should be taken when deploying those files. A little research will need to be done and/or testing on each OS.

Re: INNO Script help
kamran,
the first 6 files are the universal VB runtime files. Activeex.dll is an office file which I don't believe you can redistribute. dao350.dll is DAO for databases. You should distribute the proper MDAC and not the file. The AutoOSUpdater will install the correct MDAC/DCOM/JET SP's for any Windows OS.

Re: INNO Script help
kamran,
With the AutoOSUpdater you don't need anything else. It is all descriped on the site and in the instructions. It takes care of the Proper MDACs for any Windows OS.

Re: INNO Script help
kamran,
As far as usage and deployment of the AutoOSUpdater, ********** can put it in your script for you.
