Hey, I was cleaning a little house today, and noticed something that struck me as odd. While it's only a 25 MB Download, The framework shows as a gigabyte installed (as well as around that for the hotfix.) Is this a displaying error or does it actually inflate that much?
2GB for a framework is a bit out of hand.
Notice the 2.0 framework is around 150 MB, which seems more reasonable.
Should I try reinstalling my framework, or is everyone's so huge?
No, I dont think its really that big as the download is just over 20 Mbs. Its probably the cummulative total of the VS.NET directory as shown in my CP as having the same file size for VS Ent. Archt. 2003 and for the Framework 1.1. Also note the Hotfix is just 5 Mbs larger.
