Arrow Where did my reps go?

I went to alter my time zone settings and when I returned to the User CP my "Latest Reputation received" section had disappeared. I thought this must be due to the time zone change (why I'm not sure) but later when viewing a thread I had posted in I noticed I appear as "disabled reputation". Why is this and am I able to get them back?

I think you got caught somehow by a quick change that Brad made when he was working with reputations. I'm guessing that the reason it happened to you was that you at one time tried to turn your reputation off. Maybe not, but in any case I'll contact Brad.

    OK thanks.

BTW I've never tried turning it off, seeing as there's no visible option for it

Re: Where did my reps go?

I've noticed that several other established contributors' rep has been kaputted too, namely wossname and dglienna. I know they don't really deserve the rep, but still...

John, see this thread here on dglienna's reps - http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=367403
Wossy's Reps should not have been affected either.

I assume that this is only affecting PowerPosters, so had a quick check.. there is one other member I found with disabled reps not listed here so far, that is WhoAmI.

Re: Where did my reps go?

This is a strange issue. I'll have to look into it deeper on Monday or Tuesday. In the mean time, if a power poster changes a setting in their User CP, it may cause their rep to be turned off. If this happens, let MartinLiss or I know and we'll turn it right back on. I'll see what I can do to rectify the issue in the next day or two. (it is requiring that I look a little deeper into the system).

I've already turned back on the names listed in this thread that needed to be turned back on.

    Brad!

Re: Where did my reps go?

There is a temporary fix in place that should work for now. Hopefully we can come up with something better later. (Public thanks go to VisualAd for his suggestions)

yes, the issue was due to a change I did. Any change/save of the options page would have caused rep to not display for Power Posters and Admins. I've since made an additional change to fix that. It did not impact regular registered users.

Was it red? With a single button? And did you say "To the Brad-phone!" before using it?
