    Restoring deleted post(s)

Sometimes we delete our posts for whatever reason (I do this often) but you may also realized the very next moment that was actually correct thing to post so rather than re-typing it again I'm wondering if it is possible to restore it - some sort of Recycle Bin ? Just like "Manage Attachment" feature ... Also, it may apply to PM box - as of now it desn't have "Deleted Items" at all (or maybe it's just not shown). I know for sure that nothing really gets deleted until it is purged by system admin...

    Thanks for reading.

The forum software does have a restore feature for deleted posts, however, only moderators can restore them. So, if its something which you really want back then the best thing to do would be to contact the moderator of that forum.

    Re: Restoring deleted post(s)

That's a good idea. I don't know how vBulletin works behind the scenes so I can't offer any insight as to how it might be implemented however. I do know that with some other forum software once you delete a post that's it (unless you move it to a trash forum), but you're saying that this is different?

Edit: I really should refresh before posting

Well, I figured that much myself.

No, I'd rather do it myself.

That's not what I'm asking - I'd like to have this feature available to all of us.

Unfortuanmtly the forum software does not support that. To make it available to everyone would require making everyone a super moderator. Somehow, I doubt the admins here would agree to that

I'm not sure the admins can turn on features which do not exist either - it would require a substantial hack and as you know Jupiter Media are not keen on hacking the forum software.
