    EMail Notifications Continue To Mystify

For a while today, I was getting them left and right, but now they seem to have stopped again.

    Good point.

Actually, my notifications are working fine today. If they would just stay that way, then life would be good.

How about everyone else? Still have notifications issues?

As many of you know, I was using AOL to receive my notifications and was having problems so I created a Gmail account and used that to receive my VBF mail. That worked OK except for the fact that that meant that I got mail in two places; VBF mail in Gmail and all other mail in Outlook (via eMail2Pop). I'm happy to say however that I was able to set up my Gmail to forward to AOL and I am now getting all my mail in outlook. The Mail's path is kind of torturous (VBF->Gmail->AOL->eMail2Pop->Outlook) but it works!

My question is really simple! I use lots of forums and I am used to email notifications of an answer to a post being optional for each thread. I cannot find that option here. Is it the default, and if so, how to disable and re-enable it?

You can set the default by going to "Settings" (top of the page) then in the left column select "General Settings", then alter "Default Thread Subscription Mode".

To alter it for a particular thread you can click on "Thread Tools" at the top, then either "Subscribe to this thread..." or "Unsubscribe from this thread"
