UN set up a home or small office network
so i set up a home/small office network between my two computers in my dorm room to transfer files. And now it looks like all the shared drives i am shareing are able to be seen by every one in the dorm building. I think this because i can see other peoples. So i unshared everything my computer was shareing but id still like to be able to uncreate the network. how can i do this?

Re: UN set up a home or small office network
If you restarted your machine, then others shouldn't be able to see folders that weren't shared.
Change the workgroup name, and they will only be able to see the machine by it's name or IP address.

What do you mean uncreate the network? If you want to ensure no one else can access your network then use a different netowrk range from the other PC's. You'll need another netowrk card to do this though.
