Looking for Developer of Financial Applications - Chicago
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who has experience developing financial software. This person must be an expert with VB-6 as well as SQL based languages. The ideal candidate will have a strong Oracle background and have worked with multi-threaded applications. This person must be willing to work hard and put in extra hours as needed. A positive attitude coupled with enthusiasm and the ability to work independently while striving to meet development deadlines is essential.
Qualifications include:
- Excellent VB-6 development skills
- Experience working in Visual Source Safe
- Experience working with TCP/IP and sockets
- Experience working in an Oracle or SQL Server database
- Experience developing Multi-threaded applications
- Experience developing Loan or financial software – to include EFT, ACH, or Credit interfaces
Although not required, the following skill-sets are strongly desired:
- Experience writing web-based software using Java Server or Java Script
- Development with C++
Candidates must be able to provide examples of past development projects.
Individuals must have strong Documentation and customer service skills.
This is a full time contract to hire position located in Northbrook, IL. Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate.
