Is it possible to change the EOFevent character in Oncomm. It appears to be a ASCII 26. I would like to change it to a carriage return ASCII 13 or 10. I have a program that reads the serial port buffer after Oncomm fires. Barcode sends 7 to 15 characters per trigger pull, and appends ASCII 10 & 13 to each string.

    Hi,

I'm trying the do the same thing. The first attempt was using the Win32API call SetCommState with altered DCB settings for the EOFChar property. However, for the moment not succesfull. Have you already tried some alternatives.

    Greetings,
