    Going for SCJP.

I've in my mind SCJP certification. I love to programming in java and made 5 projects in java commercially despite of being working on c++ during my job.
I'd looked transcender but i didn't like its demo questions more instead ucertify has good questions paired with the excellent prices (70% discount) and excellent service.

I guess I should look at the official site first, but thought I will ask some questions that came to my mind.
(Oh, I've been around here before, but I just got into seriosly studying Java..so, uh...Hi! Be nice, and laught your @rse$ of at a guy going to work at M$ (just a tester) every day and go home and study Java..lol)

Is this Sun certification worth it?
Is it the industry accepted qualification like MCSD for instance with M$?
Does it carry some weight, or is it basically just used to get your foot in the door if you don't have much programming experience?
    Expensive?
    Stuff like that.

    Believe it's around $150 bucks.
As for needing it, I would say most companies would prefer it, but not require it. I'm sure if you went in for an interview and were a better programmer than some guy with a scjp certificate, then you'd get the job hands down. It's extremely tough and you'll see that with some of the practice questions, so I would suggest taking about 6 months to a year to study for it.
