Multi-line GRID??

Anybody know about a royalty free multi-line grid which
I can have a record span across more than one row, but
inside the program, logically, treat as a single row?

VB Accelerator (vbaccelerator.com) has some listboxes (not db-enabled though, so you have to add items programmatically). Those listboxes are royalty-free and faster that Microsoft ones. I doubt very much about grids, try to look there for starters. Most of the grids I know of aren't free - Sheridan UltraGrid or Janus GridEx (the last one is very good) - each one about 300 dollars.
