    Automaticaly logging out from web pages (please help)

    hi, i m new to php, i have created a web based software written in php, my problem is user automatically logs out from software if he/she doesnt use the page for more than 30-40 mins.

    is there any way to restrict page from logging out

    What does the software use to keep track of logins? Sessions, cookies, databases?
