why the I have aDSL 1.5mbit down, 384kbit up, and It's awesome, I average 1.2mbit down, and 320kbit up

I would rather have cable though, because I heard road runner is uncapped, meaning you can get >250kbyte/s

    Cable

Cable is the fastest(among things that are affordable!) in India and telephones are damn ****! We get just around 4.5 kbps most of the time and rarely does that get above 10 kbps!

Cable is available in my area for a month now and the only problem is that my Dad is ready to abuse me if I ask him about cable...

U know, a cable modem costs Rs.11,000 that should be $300 and the monthly costs are around Rs.900 around $30.... hey wait a minute! I should have told Dad the price in terms of dollars.. bloody ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cable, 512k d/s 128k u/s. It's not as fast as it could be but they don't give you a choice, it's 512 or nout. Still, not bad for £20 a month.

    Dennis -
I have had so many problems with my DSL service as well as Verizon. Many people in the North East (New Jersey, New York, etc.) are not happy with Verizon. There are times that I cannot even "get on". Its not like "dial up" where the number can be busy, but there is just no connection. Other times I'll be moving pretty quickly and then everything in the browser freezes (it happens a lot more often than any other connection I have ever had). Because of this I have given up working on my website and I do not take any "on line" tests at home.

Cable is avaiable in my area in a few months. I plan to be one of the first to get it.
