hi,
i'm planning to write a RPG game (like the FF series), in a 2d format, with grpahics like the Snes or the Megadrive. the only problem is that i'm totaly new to drawing. if you could draw or know where i could download a library of 2d pics then please email me @: [email protected]

i was really looking for someone that i could work with, on an one to one basis.
thanx for recommending the site in any case, i did have a look but i didn't really find anything i wanted.

Good Ol' Platypus
I could give you the source to my image smoothing routine (no-blurring). If it is fullscreen it will work, if it is not, it will still work, but with less of an advantage.

thank you for offering your source code, but i've been advised to do all graphical bits in C++ (i have no idea why...), but it would seem that the speed advantage of C++ is worth the bother to go and learn it...

Okay, then I'll just give you the algorithm and you can do it in C.
