    Resolved [RESOLVED] maintaining state do's and dont's

    guys im currently making a web application in asp .net. I used to pass user's information thru url by using post/get method.

    is it advisable to use sessions variables? or can you suggest when you should or not use sessions, applications and cookies.

    i know there's always advantage and disadvantages by using each of this variables or whatever you may call these.

    hoping to be enlightened with this.

    If the values are something you will/can use anywhere in the application, it's best to pass it in the session variables instead of having to work out all your pages such that the values are always passed in the URL.
