Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
I am not getting that message that tells me to confirm the new address at all now. Have you turned it off? I can write [email protected] if I want now.

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
But I am not getting notifications on gmail.com. So that means that both CERN.ch and GMail.com is working now. CERN.ch is a echange thingy BTW.

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
Not sure about the notices. I never changed my email. Seems to me that it should. But it appears that fewer people have trouble with the -f parameter enabled so I will leave it that way. As for Marty's, I know I've had trouble getting emails through to that ISP without respect to any forum, just from a regular hotmail account. But as to how many others are not getting them, I dunno

I haven't gotten any email notifications in about a month... Help?
Nobody knows what software they want until after you've delivered what they originally asked for.

Are you saying that you have a problem sending me mail from outside of VBF? I and several other people are currently not getting any notifications but I'm certain that if you send something to me outside of VBF I'll get it.

BTW Joe would you have any problem with me creating a forum-wide announcement asking people to post here if they are having the same problem?

Not getting emails again. Do you guy use an ISP or do you have your own servers?

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
Well, for me the e-mail notifications started to work for a while but now we're back to where it doesn't work again.... I have tried changing from my hotmail account to several of my other e-mail hosts, not to be revealed here, but they are all different domains owned by me but with different hosts.

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
I meant does VBF have their own servers or do they use an ISP. I know it's not the users domains or email clients that have the problem. I was attempting to help them solve ther problem.

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
OK, I just found some VBF emails in my bulk mail. I am using Yahoo and I've never marked it as spam. My settings were set to delete and block so I never see whats in my spam-box.
I am trying to un-mark VBF as spam now...

Maybe it has been sorted out (did you get notified on this post? Lets see if it is consistent.)

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
Yes I did. It was definately the Bulk-mail issue. I am getting all my VBF email notifications again.

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
The last notification that I've gotten was on 9/30. I complaned to Brad again and he promised to have someone look into it again. Currently however the people looking into it still believe (somehow) that it's a problem with our ISPs.

Well, then, you can tell them, or have Brad tell them, that it is a problem with a whole boatload of ISP's because no matter what email address I use for this site, the email notifications are *cough* inconsistent.

I have pointed that out but it didn't change anyone's opinion.

I know how that goes... It's exactly the same thing when people complains on any of my software products, they are of course without any bugs so the problem must be a bug in some other software the client has installed that causes problem with my software so they (the users) should complain somewhere else! So I fully understand that the problem is of course not on Jupitermedia's server but on every other server out on the Net.

Re: Is there a problem with email notifications?
it's not the ISP's My supportboard is sending out emails. I get them from everyone except VBF, even from people and places I never want to get emails from. One day I get them then another day I don't.
This is the day I don't....
