I got my initial MCP cert from an NT4 exam back in 1998 and as far as I'm concerned, I still am.

Yes, your still certified as it doesnt expire from a certification standpoint but MS, I believe, only recognizes certs for retired exams for 1 year after its retired for certain aspects.

Re: Am I still an MCP

Just curios. I did MCSE in 99 (NT4), and MCSD in 2000 (VB6).
Now going to write (as soon I figure out the darn testing centre's in this place!) first 3 subjects for MCAD (C#) and then add 2 exams to make it MCSD.Net

What will my card look like?
    1) MCP, MCSD.Net
    2) MCP, MCAD, MCSD.Net
    3) MCP, MCSE, MCSD, MCAD, MCSD.Net
    4) Whatever...

It's just words, and I don't put much value to it, but on the other hand, this M$ card is a cool thing and had mine in my wallet since I got the first MCP one.... (oh, get a life!)

    MCP, MCAD, MCSD
I dont think they will give you new card for MCSE since its under NT4.

I have my card in my wallet too!

Re: Am I still an MCP

Well, I got MCSE (NT4) in 2000 and MCSD (VB6) in 2001, and it's all still valid as you can see from my qualifications on the MCP site

M$ won't put up "invalid" qualifications there?

I think you should remove your transcript details from your post. I'll take your word for it.

Re: Am I still an MCP

Just to please you guys I did it.

However, just to recover from the slight embarrassment, I feel the need to explain a bit what it's about

I'm not even going to try explaining what the mcp secure site is about, but here is what Transcript Sharing (as it is called) about:

    Transcript Sharing
Provide access to your transcript for your employer or colleagues.

By setting up an Access Code you can allow your employer and colleagues to access your certification transcript online. Give them your Transcript ID and your Access Code and invite them to check your qualifications at www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/transcripts. The Transcript ID is system generated; you may view it after saving the access code for the first time. The Access Code must be Alphanumeric only with a minimum length of 8 characters and is case sensitive.
all the transcript page is, as a page anyone I gave permission (by them a temporary access & transcript code) to have a look at my M$ qualifications. They cannot access any other information, or mess around. Just a peek into sth I allow them too.
So if I feel the world can see my qualifications (heck, i'm not in secret service!) I can do that.
