    Uploading an Avatar

    I'm trying to upload a new avatar but it keeps telling me it's not a valid gif/jpeg/png. It's an avatar that I've used before (my regular waving one) and I've even tried other avatars but it's just plain not working. I uploaded it to imageshack.us and tried to get it to link from there, but it still thinks it's not valid.

    Any thoughts?

    No, actually. I just tried and it won't let me. Same error as I'm getting with the avatars. And I *know* it's valid, so it must be a server side error :-/

    Weird.
    Open it in MSPaint ( ) and save it again as a JPEG (different file) and try uploading this. I know it won't wave but it will be a good test. If it does upload it could be the image is corrupt or the extension is incorrect and the VBF uploader is picking up it's ACTUAL format rather than the extension

    There have been issues with attachments, on and off, for the past few days. Keep trying.

    Oh yeah. Seemed to have worked now. I'm going to use my pirate one for a bit, in honour of the International Talk Like a Pirate day that I forgot about.
