This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy ....

    Hello

I have a Vb.NET front-end that calls a webservice. The application is running in a production environment. When users invoke the webservice, at times they get the following message "This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy application and correct the problem."

What causes this to happen, and how do I fix it?

    Thanks

seem to be somehing to do with IIS, i dunno anything about it but read some where.. like this..

A RPC error message is often the result of a slow network connection. But
you need to determine if that's the case. See Technet at
    http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q177/4/46.ASP Also does
your Event viewer report errors in your system or application log and if so,
    which ones.

Thanks for the help. It's been a while since the issue was reported, and it's not possible to tell what the conditions were at the time. I certainly have an idea of what to look out for that when it recurrs.
