    Smile Visual Basic for Linux

Ok, I'm keep getting laughed at by my hacker friends because I use Windows. I want to switch over to Linux but I can't go on with VB6 . Anyone know of a graphical BASIC compiler for Linux? If not, anyone interested in helping create one?

I didn't find any information about a VB6 equivalent, but apparently this Linux thing (whatever it is ) does support C/C++ (how very kind of it )

You can use Mono and MonoDevelop to code VB.NET and C#. But the drag and drop form maker is not done yet. But it has an IDE if that is what you ment.

Doesn't Delphi also work in linux (and windows)? Might be my next language as it looks pretty similar. I think.

I know it works in Windows. If you take a look at CodeBank - Other on this site, you will see a ton of Delphi code examples.

It may work on Linux, but nothing about Delphi showed up in my Google search.
