    Arrow Autorun in Flash Drive

    Is it possible that when we insert our USB FlashDrive it will automatically run the set-up just like in the CD-ROM? If yes could somebody tell me how?

    Thanks!

    Re: Autorun in Flash Drive

    I don't know if flashdrives allow auto-run, if they do I expect it will work in the same way that CD-Rom's do, by using an AutoRun.ini file.

    There must be something for USB drives though? When you stick one in it opens to that drive in Explorer.

    You can download the PowerToy called TweakUI that allows AutoPlay for removeable drives.

    Exclamation Re: Autorun in Flash Drive

    actually there is no longer a way to run it right away, but there is a way to create an option to autorun a program on the Option Select screen

    Code:
    [autorun]
    action= Run Blah
    icon=blah.exe
    open=blah.exe
    try that
