Problem attachment in e-mail

I cannot seem to attach this project (made in VB6.0) to gmail or yahoo, what seems to be the problem? I have attached projects (zipped) before but encountering problems as of now...

Try www/yousendit.com They accept up to 1GIG and allows a few people to download it during the week or so it sits on their server. You might have something that's triggering the virus software. Hotmail used to do that to me occasionally. I thought I had a virus on my system, but after scanning produced nothing, I sent it the other way.

Do you have the EXE in the zip? If so, then at least gmail will reject it. I am not sure if it is a setting for it, havn't looked at it. But I know at least that when I send D# files, I have to delete the EXEs from the zip...

How far do you actualy get. Where does actualy the problem start? As in gmail doesn't actualy attach the file before you press send.

I could attach it but not send it... It says Illegal Attachment...

It's really weird, I could attach and send other projects but not with this particular one... Is there any filtering gmail is doing?

EDIT: Hmmmnn... It seems I could send other projects also, a failure was sent back to me...

Does somebody here knows how much is the limit of gmail for their attachments?

Probably some filtering....you could do it the hard way. Take one and one file out of the ZIP file, and see if it is an extension it doesn't like..

Doesnt it have to do with limit? The file I've tried to send is 46KB...

I have sendt files that is 7Mb, so it is not the file size at least.

and just sendt one that was 5kb too...so there is no limit on small files either...
