Yup... I did... 2-3 times earlier doday...

vbforums needs a new server.... it is getting quite frustrating to wait so long to submit/visit posts/threads...

Actually I think its a group of servers. Things seems back to normal now. Maybe we were hit with a bot or something?

I think it's because of the IBM Server System ad but I don't have any proof.

It would be nice to blame it on adds , but I doubt that's the couse of it...

To strengthen my point: when I browse the forums is slow, but when I close the browser and try to go on the vbforums.com, it's as if the DNS name is not responding, or the server itself. If it had something to do with the adds, then that would be the only proble, the vbforums should still load as usual...

I have still been getting the lost cursor issue with the other ad (windows server system or such) and when the focus is taken off of the reply box usually my kepresses send a reply before its time or sends me navigating back and I loose my text.

That hapens to me too, but i blame it on my wireless mouse because it does that on other web-pages also.

It's very quick for me right now. But often it is slow like you guys describe.

I've only faced this problem once, a few days ago... very rarely before that. I would think that location matters too.

I have been getting that, on and off, all morning. It is almost 12:00 noon here, this has been happening since around 6:30 a.m. But, it eventually comes back.

I've been having this problem off and on over the last week. Problem is, by the time I get back in, I'm just so grateful to get back in, I don't post about it (unless I see one of these threads pop up) because I've lost posts before (when things go down while I'm trying to reply.) so I try to get in as quickly as I can.

Still getting timeout and connection errors. The site was down for a few minutes ... withdrawls for a few minutes.

A few times today... around 4PM (GMT+1) and an hour ago.. Connection refused, DNS not found.

A strange dark part of my brain now thinks VBF is runned on a infected with blaster Windows machine rebooting every 30 minutes

Down again about 5 minutes ago or so. I lost a post and its starting to get irritating to say the least. But at least its coming back up quickly and usually its faster too until the next slowdown and crash.

OK guys I know it's been awful but we don't need a minute by minute update. Brad is in contact with the people who can fix this.
