Is IIS downloadable?
I wish to install IIS in this computer so may I know if it is downloadable?

Nope. It comes with XP Pro, and W2K though. You may try to install it on a XP Home machine. I haven't tried it yet, but there is code on the forums that explains in detail how to go about it.

Yap, I know that it comes with the CD but this computer of mine at work does not have the CD and it does not even have a CD-Rom...

See if you can trick it. At one job, when I didn't get email access, I just entered mailto:[email protected] into my web browser ( for the internal webpages ) and sure enough, I was prompted "Do you want to install Outlook?"
I could have confiigured it off the top of my head, but didn't risk attracting attention.

If you're in an office, then your administrators may have placed the setup files for your OS somewhere on a central file server. Or the dump may be in your root C:\.

Search the forum for a recent "IIs on XP Home" thread and try the solution posted there. It actually includes the files needed so no cd is required.
